As a Rule of Thumb; you as a startup CEO should schedule only half of your workweek; thus only 4 hours per day. Then you should have time to:
- Actually complete those important tasks that you scheduled
- Also have time to address the many things that “come up” in a new venture or startup
For new ventures, the CEO may develop Weekly Plans and ask managers and employees to develop Weekly Plans. These weekly plans should fit together to facilitate achievement of your Monthly Plan goals. The Monthly Plans must support your Annual Plans. In turn, the Annual Plans must support your overall plan for your financial exit.
To facilitate all of these goals in a chaotic startup environment, schedule only half of your workweek.
