  1. I totally agree with you here, sending paper cards is the best thing now a days. Because most of the people send digital Christmas and New year cards. So if we really care about our customers, we should send them a paper card. It strengthens our relationship for a long time. There is also another benefit of paper card, if the customer likes it, he will keep it for years and remember it. This is likely not happening in digital card, it’ll be just another image on their phone.
This very cost effective way to stay connected with your customers and stand out as a good guy. Thanks for the great article!

  2. We do this for our customers, but I want to suggest that a “real” paper card can differentiate you at any time of year. Our company, which supplies schools, has had great success sending out Fourth of July cards. Sounds strange, but it gets their attention and they can remember to start ordering before everyone starts heading out on vacations for the summer. Plus, it makes us look super-patriotic, and they’re not deluged with cards at that season.
Final note: careful that it doesn’t look too much like an ad. Pick a small, tasteful logo, and no other marketing content, or else you’ll probably just turn them off!

  3. I never thought about sending out Christmas cards. I actually never though about sending a paper card. I think of the world as a digital one and I now see the value that customers can get from receiving a paper card.
